DSL Woes

Hey! I'm bummed tonight. I'm going to be moving just 5 miles from where I live now, and my DSL won't go there. In fact, NO ONE'S DSL will go there! Not even the satellite companies, I can get the TV coverage, but not the internet service. Looks like I'm going back to dial up, someone remind me how terrible that is.

2 bad u have to move and give that up. no chance of staying where u r huh?

my sister still uses dial up, it's not so bad. but harder going back once you've tasted the other stuff.

Hey, Nick - did you ever manage to get something besides dialup? I heard that wildblue is rolling out their satellite across the country - maybe that would work for you?

I have not had dial up in years and it was pretty bad but I have heard it has come along way since then. maybe it is not as bad as you think. Heres hoping!

Bummer Nick,

No matter what anyone says, dial up is still crap, you're doomed to constant disconnections and half an hour to load even the most rubbish site.

I can get you 5 Miles of DSL cable cheap though, no questions asked Wink
