So what is firefox?

Excuse my stupidity but while reading your reviews you talk about Fire Fox and I was wondering if you could explain to me

exactly what that is?

Mike, you musta been living in a cave for the last year -- firefox is the new browser that is trying to take over from Microsoft for the browser on your desk...

Read their page about why they think they are so cool. Bunch of geeks if you ask me.

It was supposed to be all so secure and everything, no bugs like Microsoft stuff but as soon as it gets popular all the hackers are all over it and find it's just as full of bugs.

Yeah, they really enjoy tooting their own horn, making them sound like the greatest thing since sliced bread. I've read their advertisements for quite some time but haven't done the download or anything yet, and I probably won't.

Apparently I have been living under a rock or something, because I honestely had never heard of it.
