Yeah, I'm hearing more of that -- it's a pain and very annoying I know, not like you gonna move to another country to access their site!
What country are you in anyway? Maybe I'll start a list so people don't waste their time.
On the other hand, you can try using an "open proxy" -- sometimes that works. It means your web connection is sent via a 3rd party in some other country.
Try googling for open proxy for more information about that.
No guarntee it will work though -- particularly for video.
