What sort of information are we talking about that's been disposed to other places, I'd like to know that before I venture out on that limb to give my opinion.
To what extent and how personal was the information?
I know even the smallest of things is not right, but I guess I just want to make sure I'm clear on what you're saying. |

ok, I'm like Mike, I'm not sure to what degree you are talking about, but I do know one thing that really burns me up.
When I first started surfing the net I would do surveys, and actually fall for those emails that said, "Click here for your FREE xxxxx" Then I realized that the second I put in my email address I was getting bombarded with all this junk email.
There was no stopping it, well over a hundred pieces per day filling up my mailbox. And then the worst part of it was that when you go to the bottom of the unsolicited email where it says, "Click here to be removed from our mailing list" yeah right, another joke, because once you click to be removed it generates another batch of different spam items so now you're up to over 200 per day!
Ok, this one got me fired up, can you tell? |

I've been taken in by places like that as well, so don't feel too badly.
There always seems to be a scam of some sort involved. Just like those emails, click here you've won whatever and when you click then you are forced into going through about 15 pages of surveys and then come to find out you have to sign up and be accepted by one of their sponsors to actually get anything, and even then I'm not sure that you actually get it because I never followed it through that far. |

Yes, I wish he had come back to explain as well, but at least he left us with a topic that we could vent over. LOL
Maybe someone will read it and take it back to the scam companies that we are fed up! |

Ok, so since we are sort of on the topic, let me ask some computer guru on here a question.
My email is bombarded with JUNK! I mean, well over a hundred pieces each day and I don't know how to get it to stop. Like it was said before, when I try to lick on the "If you don't want to receive any more, click here" link, then I just end up with even more, so they are scamming us twice from one email.
I want to just get back to normal letters received from friends and not all this other crap that takes me forever to have to weed through and delete. Any ideas? |

| i think that people who dont have credit card that would like to go pvt with the perfomers to meet them 4 more in real live should be to use money order to go pvt with the perfomers, thank u, have a great day |

| Nah, chronister, I don't think many of these girls would want to meet their customers in real life. It may be that part of the reason that they do this is they don't have to have direct contact if they don't care to. The problem is, you never know what you're getting on the 'Net: 17-year-old horndog or Dirty Old Man, shy guy or stalker. |

ePassporte is good for sellers and buyers for the simple reason that the cardholder has to confirm a randomly debited amount. Only the card holder would know this as it will only be printed on his card statement, (or can access it via online banking), so sellers can accept ePassporte payments in confidence.
I use ePassporte regularly to top up my credits on a couple of sites out there. Variable amounts and a payment gateway ala PayPal's IPN. |
