Could it be the difference between a one night stand and a girl you'd like to take home to meet mother?

I think it's more about what each party expects. If you are just needing quickie attention, then I don't think the cuddling is part of the plan, but if you are someone with an ongoing relationship, then what is wrong with a little spooning after the fact? I enjoy the closeness afterwards at times myself, maybe I'm in touch with my feminine side??

Well if we're going to break it down that far, then I can understand where you're coming from.

But I enjoy the banter back and forth. I don't want everyone to think I'm cold hearted, I'm not, I just am not the kind of guy that has to have that closeness afterwards, the closeness before is sufficient for me.

They are wonderful creatures, but they can sure leave me scratching my head at times!

Well, they say there is that special someone for everyone out there.

I guess all we can do is hope that when I do find her, I'll know the right things to do and say so I keep her.

Who knows, maybe I'll be the one wanting to cuddle afterwards if that is the case!

Thank you very much, I try to not be too complicated in my ways of thinking, but I'm sure I have my moments.

I'm pretty cut and dry when it comes to what I like and what I dislike. Sometimes it's difficult though when it comes to knowing that you are saying the right thing to a woman. Something sweet that might have worked yesterday may be what sends her into a tailspin today.

For guys like me that try hard to stay on steady footing, it can be a bit confusing.
