No, just an email address - it looks as though you have to buy credit, but actually you can skip that step.
Sample cost of private
If you buy 25 Euros ($34) then that gets you 20 minutes of group chat, or 8 minutes of private chat. Buy more credits and you get better prices. So that works out to $4.25/minute for real private, but if group is ok with you (they call it "premium") then a more reasonable $1.70/minute. Given that I'm typically the only chatter in a group chat I don't mind too much, yeah guys can drop in on our show but in practice they typically move along when they see we are occupied. Nobody wants to pay themselves to watch someone elses show.
