Like you probably, I get tons of spam mail and some of it is about Adult webcams...etc.
Does anyone ever check these out?? I'm terrified of clicking a website link and unleashing a virus or something, or having some spyware downloaded... What's the thoughts on visiting webcam sites sent in email spam?
Here's one I received today:

EarsSell.com??? That doesn't even sound like a cam site? What is it - a cam site for Ear Fetishists??! 
Well, I haven't got the guts to click it, but if you do, please let me know if it's a legit cam site and if it has anything to do with ears!?!!? 
And if you unleash a virus, please don't blame me!!!!  |

| Don't do it...it's a scam, as you've already guessed. It looks like someone bought one of those "Send 50 million ads at once!" packages, and then didn't have enough intelligence or patience to even try to use it right. The result is basically some boring links to AdultFriendFinder and less savory options. You's think they'd try a little harder, but when you send out 50 millions emails...I guess even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while. |

Now, if their email had said "Check out this blind hog find an acorn" -- well, that would have really intrigued me!

Yep, I would have clicked their stupid link if they had said something like that, and they would have won with their little scam.

Aw, don't feel bad...I did click their link once, so I guess I was the acorn in this case. But you're right, that does sound a little kinky, doesn't it? Kind of like Playboy in Braille (which really does exist, but only the articles -- poor guys  ).
Anyhoo, at least you'll be spared dealing with that much more sneakyware since you didn't click. Many, those guys should be shot for doing that crap! |
